Why Google Adwords is a Waste of Money
If you’re interested in SEO services, you’ll find this article very interesting. This is a quick article as to why SEO is so important to getting traffic to your website. Quite frankly, I used to use paid listings (Adwords PPC) exclusively to market and sell an ebook product that I wrote a couple years ago. And although I had decent success, it wasn’t those highly visible Adword ads that did it for me. Instead, the majority of my traffic came from my organic rankings (those unpaid, free listings). For some time, I thought this was a result of my ad copy, but I soon found out that this is something that is actually quite common. Finding a Professional SEO company can assist you with organic ranking using affordable SEO services.
A study completed by Marketing Sherpa revealed that 85% of searchers completely ignore paid listings. This means that money you spend on Google PPC Adwords is only effective for about 15% of your target market. Google knows this. Elite Internet marketers know this…but the “average” marketer does not. And instead of focusing on ranking higher organically, they waste money on PPC ads that don’t have a very high ROI at all. Really, for a fraction of what you are likely spending on PPC, you could have very high organic rankings AND you could be reaching 85% of your target market rather than just 15%.
And it gets worse…
The online marketing magazine, eMarketer, reported that their recent study found that 60% of customers DISTRUST paid search results over the natural organic results. Thinks about that. With PPC, not only are you only reaching about 15% of your potential target market, but you’re also alienating 60% of people who notice your ad because they distrust you.
Can you really afford to ignore 85% of your target market? Can you really afford to have 60% of online users distrust your business?
I’m sure that answer is a resounding “no!”
